November already!

 We started off November with the good fortunate of having Auggie get his Covid vaccine.  While there, we bumped into two of our neighbor friends.  Kids did great during the shots and then enjoyed videos and graham crackers. 

Next came a fun trip to Sacramento to meet up with some friends.  We took the Amtrak to the Sacramento Train museum, where we met up with Susan, Don and Addison. Ella absolutely loved the train and spent the first 15 minutes pointing out everything out our window.  When we got to Sacramento, the two 7 year olds, who had only met once and more than a year ago, immediately took off playing and looking at exhibits. After the museum, we had lunch and then the big kids got to ride a ferris wheel, while Ella rode a carousel.  When we were leaving, Auggie made me promise we would repeat the whole playdate all over again soon. 

Later in the month, we took a trip to the Cal Academy of Sciences. Kids had a wonderful time and Auggie decided he wanted to be an Ocean Photographer one day (and proceeded to take hundreds of photos with Agnieszka's phone.)  Somehow, however, we got very few pictures of us!

We got even fewer pictures of Thanksgiving.  Just this one!

This month, just like most months since Auggie joined a climbing team, Agnieszka, Auggie and Evan did a lot of trips to the climbing gym.  Even Colin and his dad joined us one day!

Finally, just because Halloween ended last month, it wasn't the end of costume time.  Ella had lots of fun dressing up in costumes this month.
