The first half of March began in the shadow of the growing worldwide coronavirus pandemic. Agnieszk's work had become busy and stressful, and even the kids in Auggie's classroom were beginning to talk about "the sickness".
In the first week, had a few days of needed rain, and the kids had lots of fun taking selfies with Papa and dressing up in all the play jewelry they could find.
We happened to get some amazing skies between the rainy days.
On one of the days, Agnieszka got to go to Auggie's classroom to watch a music lesson with their music teacher Mr. Bryan, and then teach the kids how to properly wash hands.
It was only a few days later, that all schools closed in order to slow down the spread of the coronavirus.
The kids were thrilled. Auggie began the first of many creative art projects, and we started to have frequent visits from Alex and Evan, including the first ever tent-in-the-house sleep over! Ella was in heaven, with all three kids giving her attention and Alex taking care of her like a big sister.
Before our counties placed Shelter-in-Place orders, we managed to take a last trip to Stinson Beach! It was cold, but everyone loved it.
