With Ella's sleep strike showing no sign of weakening, we did not think we could make it to Spring Strawberry this year. However, when we found out that our wonderful friends Hillary and "Shaggy" (Tim) were getting married there, we packed up the camping supplies for Auggie& Daniel and booked an AirBNB for Ella and Agnieszka and made it happen!
The wedding was beautiful. Auggie's (and Ella's) first. All the kids listened attentively to the beautiful vows, then played in the celebratory bubbles, and led camp-wide the music "train" at the end. The wedding was followed by a Tequila Jam, which was attended by many folks from the festival, continuing the celebration.
The rest of the festival, Auggie played with his festival friends and attended a concert by his favorite Banana Slug Band, while Ella slept through the feverish beginnings of Roseola. The Air BNB ended up benefiting all, as heavy rains came down on our last night and day, and we packed up the camp early and all spent the night under a roof on the last day.
