We had Auggie's Birthday Party at Arlington Park almost a week early. As usual, the weather threatened rain. There was a lot of weather forecast checking in the week coming up to the party, and hedging our bets, we opted to do the park after all. We had some misty sprinkles before the party began, followed by a few hours chilly hours (warmed up by a spontaneous coffee run by Jeff and Dziadek), but by lunch time, the sun had warmed the whole park. There were a few last minute hurtles - Agnieszka working to the last minute, Daniel hurting his back, Keith getting the flu - but the whole family chipped in time and a lot of effort to throw Auggie a wonderful party. As requested, we had a huge pink unicorn pinata and a cake with strawberries. Auggie was thrilled to see that it was Frozen themed.
