Our determined, cuddly, curious Ella is 1 year old today. She has been changing daily. She started cruising right before 11 months, walked a few steps in early January and today, started walking from room to room, though still occasionally diving precariously at furniture at the end of her stroll. She is fearless - especially when it comes to electrical outlets and heights - but she has already figured out how to safely backward slide down our stairs and off of furniture. She babbles up a storm and giggles hysterically when you tickle her belly, make faces during peekaboo, or simply just laugh happily with her (especially if you are her big brother). She has started sleeping through the night and has grown suddenly very attached to pacifiers - hopefully giving her thumbs a much needed break. We cannot wait to see what the next year will bring.
