Ella is 11 months old!

Ella is 11 months old!  

She remains a daily joy.  During this month, she started cruising on furniture and with her walker (though in the beginning, she preferred crawling under her walker over pushing it forward). She continues to pursue Kleenex boxes with a feverish determination; tearing a few tissues into tiny pieces of pulp leave her quite fulfilled. She loves cuddles and being held and carried.  The stroller takes some getting used to, but she will happily sit in it as long as she can see her big brother running ahead of her. She remains a bit of a picky eater, but we have discovered that she is a fan of pears, corn, tofu and beans cooked in ham broth. Carrots, which used to pass for food, serve only as projectiles.   She loves reading books with pictures of other babies and looking at the adorable baby in the mirror. Her big brother continues to make her laugh and smile, especially in the morning, and they have started to entertain each other in the car.  She has a great ear for music and will stop doing whatever she is doing to shake her bum and dance to some good melodies.
