Agnieszka usually has to work every other weekend. So on the days all three of us are at home, we try to make the most out of each day. On Saturday, we went to beach in the morning. The trip started out with a 2 mile walk to the ocean at Tennessee Valley. The beach was beautiful, with many pebbles for August to collect, and big waves for Daniel and Agnieszka. We walked back to the car (registering 10 thousand steps before naptime!) and August was asleep before we got home. After his nap (during which Daniel and Agnieszka took turns taking small hikes), we walked to the nearby park and picked blackberries along the way.

Agnieszka zwykle pracuje w co drugi weekend. Dlatego w dniach kiedy wszyscy są w domu, staramy się aby jak najwięcej korzystać każdego dnia. W ostatniej sobocie udaliśmy się do plaży w godzinach porannych. Podróż rozpoczęła się w odległości 2 mil do oceanu w Tennessee Valley. Plaża była piękna, z wielu kamieni dla Glucia do zbierania i dużych fal dla Daniela i Agnieszki. Wróciliśmy do samochodu i Gucio zasną zanim dotarliśmy do domu. Kiedy się obudził, poszliśmy do bliskiego parku zbierając jeżyny po drodze.
The next morning, we made a trip to the animal farm at Tilden Park, and then went to visit Dziadek and the pool. This was August's first time in the pool with both Mama and Papa and he was much braver than he had been. By the time it was time to leave for his nap, he did not want to get out. Favorite activities included floating "all by self" while holding on to the steps and jumping off the side of the pool into Papa and Mama's arms. (Thank you Dziadek for all the pictures!)

Następnego dnia rano, zrobiliśmy wycieczkę do hodowli zwierząt w Tilden Park. Potem pojechaliśmy na wizytę do Dziadka (i basena). To był pierwszy raz dla Gucia w basenie w tym roku i był o wiele bardziej odważniejszy niż wcześniej. kiedy nadszedł czas, aby iść do domu, że nie chce, aby wydostać się z basenu. Ulubiony działania obejmowały pływające "wszystko sam" i skacząc na brzegu basenu w ramiona Mamy lub Taty.
