It's been a while. Who knew that life could be busier with a toddler!?
August has been growing quickly. He has changed a lot since his birthday. He is developing a personality, speaking his mind and expressing opinions. He continues to be a little boy who likes to collect and organize things. This includes spending hours on the beach, separating the white rocks form the red ones or collecting seaweed in his bucket.
At home, he continues to pick flowers and collect them in little plastic cups (even when his Mama would prefer they stay on the bushes and in the grass!). He has more to say every day, and can often tell us a bit about his day when we come back from work.
He still loves Winnie the Pooh, but has now started asking for different books at night time and loves hearing new stories and reading more complicated books (current favorites include "Sitting Down to Eat", "Clifford the Red Dog, and "Room on a Broom"). He's also started to love Berenstain Bears and Curious George books, but the big difference is his love of variety.
He remains a big fan of animals. His nanny Kristen takes him to the zoo weekly and he has many little animal figurines he loves to take to the bath.
One of the biggest changes is that he has started to love playing with other little kids. He still loves his cousins most of all, but he gets excited about going to the park and meeting other children. He is definitely ready to start pre-school!

Gucio rośnie i szybko się zmienia. Rozwija osobowość, mówi swój umysł i wyraża swoją opinię. On nadal jest mały chłopiec który lubi zbierać i porządkować przedmioty. Na plaży, oddziela białe kamienie od czerwonych, lub zbiera wodorostów w swoim wiadze.
W domowym ogrodzie, zbiera kwiaty w małych plastikowych kubkach (mimo ze jego mama wolałaby aby one zostały na krzakach!). Maluszek ma więcej do powiedzenia co każdy dzień, i często może powiedzieć nam trochę o swoim dniu, kiedy wracamy z pracy.
Nadal uwielbia Kubusia Puchatka, ale teraz najbardziej chce czytać nowe książki na codziennie. Często odwiedzamy bibliotekę.
Pozostaje on wielkim miłośnikiem zwierząt. Jego opiekunka Kristen zabiera go do zoo co często.
Jedną z największych zmian jest to, że rozpoczął bawić się z innymi małymi dziećmi. On kocha swoich kuzynów przede wszystkim, ale również barzo lubi iść do parku i lubi bawić się z innymi dziećmi. On jest na pewno gotowy do przedszkola!
